Warranty Policy
I. Standard Limited Warranty Policy
Acer Gadget provides this Standard Limited Warranty Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Warranty Policy”). We reserve the right to modify or update this Warranty Policy without prior individual notice. Please refer to our website or product warranty documentation for the latest information.
Warranty Description
- This warranty applies only to the original purchaser in the region where the product was purchased through official or authorized sales channels. Services are provided based on the warranty policy of that region and do not cover cross-region or international warranty.
- This warranty covers failures or abnormalities that occur under normal use within the warranty period. Damage or failure caused by human factors or other reasons not attributable to the company is not covered. Common (but not limited to) warranty exclusions are listed in “II. Warranty Exclusions”.
- The company reserves the right to use new or factory-refurbished parts to repair or replace any defective products or components.
- All replaced parts and products become the property of the company.
- If the warranty period has expired at the time of repair, basic inspection fees and parts costs (including software and hardware) will be charged.
Warranty Period Calculation
- Please keep your original purchase invoice. The invoice must clearly state the product name, model, and purchase date. The invoice date serves as the start date of the warranty period.
- If a valid purchase invoice cannot be provided, the warranty period will start from the manufacturing date corresponding to the product serial number.
- Unless otherwise specified below, the standard warranty period for all products is 12 months.
- Unless specified in the product’s accompanying warranty manual, accessories are not covered by the warranty.
Warranty period for products in Taiwan
- eScooter: 24 months (Battery and Charger: 12 months)
- NOZA P1 Power Pedal: 24 months
- HS5 Heart Rate Monitor: 6 months
- TS5 Speed/Cadence Sensor: 6 months
II. Warranty Exclusions
This Warranty Policy does not apply to any of the following situations, or products damaged or defective due to such situations.
- Not Manufactured or Sold by Our Company
- Products not manufactured by our company.
- Products not sold through our authorized dealers.
- Improper Use and Human Factors
- Using the product for purposes other than its intended normal use.
- Using software, interfaces, or other items supplied by yourself or third parties.
- Failure to use the product in accordance with the accompanying user manual.
- Misuse or other damage or abnormalities caused by human factors.
- Using the product exceeding specified height, weight, and age limits.
- Any extreme sports, commercial, or exhibition use.
- External Factors and Damage
- Accidents, collisions, water immersion, high-pressure water spraying, freezing, dropping, severe oxidation, or chemical solvent corrosion.
- Improper transportation or packaging when delivering the product to our company or authorized service providers.
- Natural disasters, fire, flood, or other force majeure factors.
- Unauthorized Alterations and Repairs
- Modifying the product, including using parts not manufactured and/or sold by our company.
- Service or repairs performed by anyone other than our company or authorized service providers.
- Data and Consumables
- Any loss or damage to data, software, programs, or removable storage devices. (Please note: You are responsible for backing up your data)
- Consumable parts, i.e., parts that require regular replacement during normal use of the product.
- Natural wear and tear of the product or its components.
- Damaged Packaging
- You should refuse to accept the product if the outer packaging or security seal is damaged. If you accept it, you agree that the product is not covered by the warranty.
